about US
Oklahoma School for the Deaf Foundation is an independent board of trustees. The Foundation provides funds for school programs and projects not otherwise funded by federal or state government agencies. Grants from The Foundation have provided educational benefits and opportunities for both teachers and students. High school students have participated in Art Sign, a festival for the visual and performing arts, with other Deaf Schools in our five-state region. Through the Foundation’s support, The Betty S. Fine Museum has been granted a permanent home on the OSD campus. OSD Foundation helps support the OSD Summer Camp which is a two-week camp for OSD students and Deaf and hard of hearing students from mainstream programs in Oklahoma. The camp bridges the gap for the mainstream student's exposure to Deaf culture. Scholarships have been granted for graduating seniors seeking post-secondary education in either university or vocational training. OSD Foundation is currently raising funds for a much-needed OSD sports complex. Follow the link on the left to see how we all can "Make it Right."
